    Constentando pregunta II

Monday, September 8, 2008, 03:50 AM EST [General]

    Hola nuevamente,

Is there another Michael Lee White that started the Georgian war?

Monday, September 8, 2008, 08:48 AM GMT [General]

"GUANGZHOU, China - Russian officials say Michael Lee White was a U.S. agent involved in the recent fighting between their troops and Georgia. They claim to have found the Army veteran's passport in the country.

But in his cramped teacher's apartment thousands of miles away at a business college in southern China, the American told The Associated Press on Wednesday that he's never been to Georgia. When the five-day war was raging last month, White said, he was in his hometown of Austin, Texas, caring for his sick father.

The CIA on Wednesday denied White was working for the U.S. intelligence agency."

Michael Lee White displays a picture of the passport he said was lost on a Moscow-New York flight in 2005, at his apartment in Guangzhou, China, Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008. For fun, I suggest his lost passport had been used by somebody else either from the CIA or the KGB(whatever its current name). We can only guess which is more likely.

    "SO? My Dad's a copper."

Monday, September 8, 2008, 08:41 AM GMT [Politics]

In the face of the Alaskan Reality Show and The Veterans' Parade, Obama has regressed to his school yard self.

'I almost joined the military.' Nah, nah, ner ,nah nah! That's tellin' 'em, son. Chip's shakin' in his shoes! Go on. Tell 'im you nearly 'ad a proper job - once, was it?

Ms Rodham though has a little local difficulty with similar claims. She'd like to prove what a down-home pragmatist she really is, with truth as her watchword; just like Sarah. But at the mention of Whitewater, Ireland and many other world troublespots she dissembles like a Friday afternoon IKEA kit.

Now everybody has to wait until 4th November to hear which horses have won the nursery stakes. My money's on the old guy and his floozy.

es algo asi como un consejo

Monday, September 8, 2008, 03:38 AM EST [General]

    Sinceramente aLeX...

What Gordon Brown should do next

Monday, September 8, 2008, 08:34 AM GMT [Countryside]

The beauty of listening to Radio 4 in thr moring is that you get to hear where the next disaaster is coming from.  There were two this morning: the uk harvest is a disaster zone and today's cabinet meeting is being held in Birmingham.  In ancient times - the middle ages theking used to have a progression throughout the country in order to view for himself the state of the country, east off its bouty and collect taxes while dispensing justice.  I thought perhaps Gordon Brown was resurrecting this progress but with the worst harvest on record it looks like he is getting ready to bolt.   No doubt our EU colleagues are getting ready to exploit our shortfall with embarassing ly expensive wheat prices the french especially so.  If we were looking to save expense in Government spendingI think we should start looking at our DEU contributions and take a holidayon them.  it is quite clear that we are being stuck on power prices by our colleagues across the channel due to our banking system having sold the family silver to the french and germans.  After the fishing quotas debacle, you would have thoughtt UK bankers would have learnt their lesson.   The spanish have a government that sticks to its last and a taxation system designed to exploit British financial services idiocy.  let us see what a clanger they will make of BAA.  here we have a spanish firm who invested with borrowed money at the height of the credit boom - should we take these boyos to the cleaners? there is a nice building recession in spain which before it blossomed looked to obliterate the money of non- spanish property owners.  are the diegos sorry,? No they are not so now that we cannot afford to go to Spain on holiday, will we through EU funds have to bail out a bunch of thieving scum?

So do we in the UK have a government that suports the British people or do we have a government that sells us out every time? I am not interested in rhetoric or policy statements rehashing where monies are already committed.  I want some action from that bunch of freloaders at westminster who spout socialist sputum while gettig stuck into thegravy train. I do not want to hear how wonderful Gordon Brown is - we have got beyond that stage.  Mr clarke opined that the laour party is in trouble - I could have told you that four years ago for the same reasons that they are today - the writing was on the wall even then. I am waiting for people to start throwing rotten eggs at the likes of HarietHarman whose pontificating socialism has stuffed this country.   The trade unions are taling about strikes - I have news for you twats - it is already too late for strikes - none of your members can afford to go on strike that is how bad the situation is.  the red robbos of this world are deader than the dodo.

John MCCain in his acceptance speech for the republian presidential candidate came out with the simple words that every army sergeant gives to their troops after they have fixed bayonets "Get up and fight"   Sarah Brown should say the same to Gordon Brown.

Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and the SPD

Monday, September 8, 2008, 08:32 AM GMT [General]

The rumours have been swirling for weeks that Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Germany's foreign minister, would be the SPD's pick for Chancellor at elections next year.

Now it's been confirmed, along with the news that SPD leader Kurt Beck is resigning.

The SPD has been so beleaguered for so long that it's often hard to remember that it's actually a party of power, in the grand coalition with the CDU. It hardly seems that way, and the fault for that has largely been pinned on Beck, who has been so comprehensively outgunned by Angela Merkel.

Such was Beck's staggering unpopularity that it was widely assumed Steinmeier would carry the SPD's chancellor hopes next year. But somehow, in one of those acts of self-deception of which political parties the world over seem capable, the fact that he was not deemed the best choice for Germany's top job was supposed to have no impact on his ability to run the SPD.

Of course it did. Beck's only defence as Steinmeier cleaned up was that while the FM could play the charismatic media-friendly smoothie role required of all chancellors, he would be the dour ideologue without whom Frank-Walter would be nothing. They might as well have called themselves Tony and Gordon.

But the reality is that Kurt/Gordon was utterly unable to provide the ideological leadership role either, and indeed it was this that his party needed more than anything.

For if the SPD is in a crisis, which it is, it is because it does not know whether it is a traditional (pre-Tony) left wing party defending trade unions and workers' rights, or a modern left wing party (post-Tony) that embraces a little of the reverse.

Mr Blair was lucky in having only had rebels within his party to deal with when moulding New Labour.

Since crafting its own welfare reforms, known as Agenda 2010, the SPD has had plenty of those too. But it also has neo-commnist party Die Linke, ready to scoop up all those disaffected by the changes. Die Linke is now only a couple of points behind the SPD. It's a bit as if, instead of powering him to number 10, Blair found all his modernising efforts only transformed Dave Spart into a serious political player.

How to respond to Die Linke? Steer the SPD to the left or to the centre? Beck seemed unable to master his own party on the issue. But there will be no more doubts. His replacement as party chief, as its ideological chief, is Franz Müntefering, perhaps the leading reformist in the SPD. Given that Steinmeier was chef de cabinet during the Schröder chancellorship which drove through Agenda 2010, the party's leadership is now unambiguously, furiously, centrist.

Beck strove to keep his party together by compromise. Will we now see these two, Müntefering and Steinmeier, seek to repair the SPD's fortunes through confrontation - both with their critics inside the party, and with Die Linke, ?

Ducks in the vanguard of France’s drive for renewable energy

Monday, September 8, 2008, 08:28 AM GMT [General]

As anyone who has ever kept ducks will attest, they are mucky creatures.

    Gallery Photo
Ducks in the Vendée are producing more than just food products

By which I mean they poop a lot. Now, a handful of ducks kept in the garden or basse cour does not create a huge problem. And for the smallholder, ducks fill a useful niche: they cheerfully chomp through slugs by the hundred, are remarkably unfussy about their accommodation and – unlike chickens – are not particularly damaging to plants, provided that the mollusc diet is supplemented with a spot of grain. But when one is talking about farm-scale flocks, the quantities of potentially-polluting slurries can quickly rise to alarming levels.

The Vendée has a duck population counted in the millions. The département is, I am told, France’s largest producer of ducky products: foie gras, confits, pâtés and fresh birds for roasting. Much of the production is concentrated around Les Herbiers in the North of the Vendée. This rather gives the town something of an incentive to find imaginative solutions to the problem of the truly astounding quantity of duck droppings produced locally.

So a company named Biogasyl built them a “méthanisation” unit. Basically, this is a series of big tanks into which all the poop is pumped and allowed to ferment in the absence of air to produce methane, the major component of natural gas.

This gas is burned on site to generate electricity, sufficient to provide power to over 300 local homes and in doing so consumes 20 million litres of ducks’ leavings each year.

Better still, the solid residue produced is not in the least bit noxious and makes a high grade fertiliser, which can be spread on the neighbouring fields of maize and other crops, that then go into making food for the duck farms, and, thence, into even more duck droppings for the methaniser.

Almost a case of a system of perpetual motion. Or should that be perpetual motions?

Immigration policy is beyond our politicians

Monday, September 8, 2008, 08:19 AM GMT [General]

Opposition to mass immigration is now mainstream -  respectable, even. Witness the creation of the first cross-party group on the subject, co-chaired by Nick Soames and Frank Field, and supported by such hoary-headed bigwigs as Lord Skidelsky, Lord Ahmed, Lord Carey (the former Archbishop of Canterbury), Lord Jordan (the former trade union boss) and Field Marshal Lord Inge KG, GCB, PC, DL.

In their first paper, these broad-bottomed grandees observe that the current level of settlement has several deleterious consequences. Britain is poised to become the most crowded country in Europe, and will admit a further 7 million people by 2031. To accommodate so many newcomers, we shall have to build a new house every six minutes for the next 20 years. The group suggests, broadly speaking, a one-in-one-out policy, which would slow (though by no means halt) this increase.

The trouble is that there is not the slightest chance of anything of the kind happening. The entire system is loaded against such reforms. In order to secure these aims, our politicians would have to renounce the European Convention on Human Rights, abrogate the 1951 UN Convention on refugees, withdraw from the EU's Dublin Convention (and very possibly alter the entire basis of Britain's relationship with the EU), overhaul the Immigration Service, reverse the shift towards domestic judicial activism and, perhaps most implausibly of all, make the Home Office fit for purpose.

Do our Establishment worthies have the stomach for such battles? And, even if they do, will it make any difference? We are again cruelly reminded that Britain is run by a standing apparat of quangoes, Whitehall functionaries, human rights judges and Eurocrats. They, not the elected politicians, decree immigration policy. Successive Home Secretaries can and do announce crackdowns on an almost weekly basis. But they are tugging at levers that have worked loose, jabbing at buttons long since disconnected. Until Parliament is put in charge, nothing will change. Nothing can change.

    Building houses?

Monday, September 8, 2008, 08:18 AM GMT [General]

The government has stated that its target is ti build 300,000 new houses per year. Quite why it has made this statement is unclear as the goverment currently does not build any house, private contractors do.

What the government does do is to actively conspire to make the building of those houses as difficult and uneconomic as possible.

The granting of planning permissions is left to a group of local council workers who will readily grant permission for a new house to be built in someones back garden but will not allow larger development because of the lack of infrastructure, but who`s job is it to provide the infrastructure? The Council.  Where they will grant permission there is a legal mugging that takes place where permission will not be granted unless cash is handed over to the council, for what use? Who knows.

EDF the energy supplier has got itself into a position where any new electrical supply will tale at least 16 weeks to install, even a temporary builders supply, thus ensuring that the start of every building site in the land will be delayed.

In the laudable pursuit  of  energy efficiency the Building Regulations change with such frequency that very few individuals really understand them any more. We have HIPS, SAPS EPC's and all sorts of other rubbish that do nothing for the building process.

The list is endless but the important question is, who pays?  The anwer is obvious, the house buyer pays; whether they are a first time buyer or an elderly person downsizing it is the buyer who pays.  When the government insists that affordable housing is included in a scheme, who pays? We do.

The goverments response is to downgrade the Housing Ministers post to a part time job, thus reducing the construction industry, the largest employer of male labour in the country to a cottage industry. Why don't they just go away and let market forces determine that people can buy what ever they want to buy; If we want to live in a tent or a castle we pay so its up to us.

Big Show is now out. He grabs a mic and says, "Hi!" Big Show said he would like to make a suggestion saying that if Mike Adamle is looking for a replacement, he should look no farther than the world's largest athlete. He said he is sick and tired of how Vickie Guerrero is running Smackdown and thinks even Adamle can make a good decision. Big Show mentions the results of tonight's text vote and asks the fans if they would vote him in tonight. The fans cheer loudly and Big Show thanks them. His music hits as Vickie Guerrero begins to walk down. Vickie has a mic and asks Big Show if he understands english. She said he disregarded her instructions and threatens to suspend him. Vickie calls him a big dumb giant. Big Show stares her down and she says to never look at him that way. Vickie tells him to go to the back right now when the famous druid music plays. Big Show starts laughing as druids appearing wheeling down a casket. Big Show waves goodbye to her and claps as the druids get to the ringside area. They place the casket near the ring and walk away. The Undertaker appears on the TitanTron. He said he promised he was coming for her at Unforgiven. Undertaker said that coffin would also be her final resting place and said the only question remaining is if she will go voluntarily or if he has to come down himself. This is getting even a little corny even for my tastes.

The Undertaker's music then hits as the arena goes dark. The Big Show holds Vickie as she tries to get away. Vickie breaks free, but Big Show catches up to her and brings her back to the ring. The Undertaker appears and walks down the ramp. He stands by the coffin and opens it up. Undertaker gets into the ring and does his usual entrance of removing his attire. Vickie is still being held by Undertaker when he walks up and chokes her. Big Show then levels Undertaker with a right hand and starts going after Undertaker in the corner with some big rights and lefts. Undertaker falls to the outside and Big Show begins driving his knees into his sternum. Undertaker fires back with some right hands, but Big Show lifts him up and drives him back first into the steel ring post. Big Show then drops Undertaker face first off the top of the coffin. Big Show then sends Undertaker into the guard railing and tips the coffin over. Big Show with some more shots and a headbutt to Undertaker. Big Show tosses Undertaker in the ring. Big Show hits him with two headbutts and then a huge right hand. Big Show drops an elbow on Undertaker a few times. Big Show with another big right hand that sends Undertaker to the mat. Big Show then props up Undertaker allowing Vickie to slap him and spit in his face. Big Show and Vickie Guerrero then head to the back

    Contestando una pregunta I

Monday, September 8, 2008, 03:14 AM EST [General]

    Hola nuevamente,

    8-leo farandula (relajarme)

    9-leo deportes (relajarme)

10-veo some porno (sin comentario) (chiste)

Y asi Yo determino los Gaps A o B o C O gap Down...

    besos linda!

WHY WE SHOULD BE CHOSEN AS "THE PERFECT COUPLE"

Monday, September 8, 2008, 12:11 AM PST [General]

YES, Felix and I are young....but we have so much potential and the love for eachother is ENDLESS! Felix and I were meant to be. We are eachother's first love and it was for sure..."love @ first sight". Walking down the aisle to be united as one IS OUR DREAM!!!! I have never felt so happiness in my life until I met Felix and when we gave birth to our daughter....the love grew THAT MUCH stronger. His words are sweet and kind...Her laugh and smile bring warmth to my heart. When we hold eachother...its as if its only us standing on top of the world. Felix and I have been though thick and thin. We do not compare our realtionship to any other because everyone has their own unique relationship...and I for sure am glad to share my love with the best person I have ever met. there is never a dill moment in our life. Smiles are all around. We love Saturday mornings...we wake up and cuddle until we feel that its time to get ready for the day. While getting ready, we will still crack jokes and play around!!! Now that we have Savannah in our lives...it makes Saturday mornings that much better. Now we have her to pull into bed with us and cuddle with. We have her to joke around with and maybe some more playing!!! But the only different thing about having her around is SHE TELLS US WHEN WE GET UP AND WHEN SHE IS READY TO PLAY. Its the best having a daughter...its the best having our own little family....and its definatly the best having FELIX as daddy and LAUREN as mommy. We wouldnt have our family any other way!!!!! We hope that KIIS FM will give us the grand opportunity to become a finalist or possibly "the perfect couple." YOU WONT REGRET YOUR DECISION!!!!!!

    Charging like a wounded rhino!

Monday, September 8, 2008, 08:09 AM GMT [General]

As forecast in this blog last week the price of the dear old Torygraph continues to soar, almost as quickly as the quality of the content plummets.

In October last year, the cover price rose from 70 to 80 pence. Today it has risen from 80 to 90 pence. An overall rise, in less than a year, of around 28 percent.

And with what great benefits has its readership be showered in the same period? More colour photos and endless Bryony Gordon.

"Quality" newpaper, or Hello magazine for the blue rinse brigade?
